Tian Jin Fong Kee is originated from the province of Tian Jin, China, created by the Fong Family. The founder, also my grandfather, Fong Chee Yen, first arrived in Singapore from Tian Jin in 1948 and started the dumpling business in a coffee shop located at the Old Market Road. When the coffee shop was acquired by the Singapore Government in 1970, the business shifted to People's Park, where it has been operating since. Today, we are operating in following locations as well.

Fong Kee pioneered the Chinese dumplings business in Singapore. Initially, our customers were mainly sailors, pilots and flight attendants from all over the world, who tasted and enjoyed Chinese dumplings overseas. Through word of mouth, Singaporeans were gradually introduced to eating Chinese dumplings. Local and overseas celebrities are also our regular customers who love the authentic taste of Fong Kee dumplings.
